Resume Writing- A well-written resume is truly the key to getting the job you’re after. There’s no tool more vital to getting your foot in the door and opening up opportunities for the job of your dreams.
Computer Lab Access- providing essential technology for our children to do homework and for many of the parents to search for jobs.
Afterschool Enrichment- Studies have shown that the after-school hours can be dangerous ones for children. The Department of Justice reports that 29 percent of all juvenile offenses occur on school days between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and that the number of violent crimes committed doubles in the hour immediately after school is let out (U.S. Department of Justice). WDM offers a safe and supervised environment for children 5-12 years to receive homework help, a snack, and dinner. They also engage in activities that aid in social and spiritual growth.
Girls Mentor Program- provides monthly lunch & learn activities that expose and challenge our youth to reach beyond where they are.
Summer Specialty Camp- provide your child with the chance to develop character, learn valuable life skills, make new friends, and discover new interests
Summer Food Program- ensures that children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. Free meals, that meet Federal nutrition guidelines, are provided to all children 18 years old and under (breakfast & lunch).
Life Coaching - Life transition coaching is a tool that more and more successful people are using to become their best! Through coaching you gain clarity, discover your strengths, set purposeful goals, work through fears and doubt, take sustainable action and manifest your dreams!
Sister Circle- Sister Circle is a 90 minute event that helps participants break free of fear and doubt, take action and manifest their dreams!
Food Pantry- WDMdistributes food to those who have difficulty purchasing enough food to avoid hunger.
Clothing Assistance- is an outreach program providing clothing and household items to the residents of the community free of charge who have an immediate need.
